Franchesca went on to receive her Bachelor's in Fine Arts with a concentration in acting at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County. While in school she was given many opportunities to perform in various productions, compete at the Kennedy Center College Theater Festival where she was a 2x Irene Ryan's acting scholarship finalist, Voice and Speech Trainers Association award recipient and Comedic/Dramatic facility award recipient. Franchesca was also apart of an artist scholarship program (Linehan Artist Scholarship) where she collaborated with other artists from other disciplines. The program consisted of taking trips to different cities to see dance, theater and music performances and attending workshops. This program opened her mind to think about art as non-linear and that all disciplines intersect with each other which, has left an impact on how Franchesca takes on scripts, movement, etc.

It is her hope that with all of her education, love and care for the art of acting and theater she can continue to not only inspire herself but others.
